Goal action plan

Food and nutrition 10 years costed plan is endorsed and its implementation is started in all regions and city administrations. The food and nutrition coordination platforms will be strengthened in the regions and city administrations by establishing a coordination and governing structures. The implementation will be accelerated by Seqota Declaration expansion phase implementation in 240 woredas which will be expanded to additional 500 woredas during the ten years period.• Strengthening nutrition actions in to existing health sector transformation plan-IIo Governance and Leadership: Implement nutrition actions in health services as part of health sector transformation plan. Integrate nutrition implementation in Woreda transformation agenda.o Health work force: Train health workers integrated delivery of nutrition services in life cycle approach. Ensure health workers receive integrated supportive supervision and mentorship that builds their capacity to deliver quality nutrition services.o Health Service Delivery:- Increase the effective coverage of essential nutrition services (promotion of breast feeding and complimentary feeding, GMP, VAS, IFA, MMS, community based management of Acute malnutrition, etc) through the health system with special focus on vulnerable groups.- Integrate and implement nutrition related actions into nutrition smart health services (family planning, EPI, ANC, PNC, etc)o Access to Nutrition Commodities: Improve the availability, affordability, accessibility and proper administration ntrition commodities.o Nutrition/Health Information system: Inclusion of major indicators in routine health information system, strengthen and expand digital nutrition information system (UNISE)o Nutrition Financing: Allocate domestic finance for nutrition actions. Implement resource allocation and expenditure tracking at national and subnational levels(Please see the attached food and nutrition strategy - signed by multi-sector Ministers)

In addition to that governments commitment for diversified food production and consumption named after "Yelemat Tirufat" is key point that worth sharing.
