Goal

By 2023, the Royal Government of Cambodia will enact the Food Safety Law. The food safety law was passed on April 1 2022. The law provides the framework to imprοve food safety in Cambodia, from farm to fork, as well as the specifications for who/which insititutions to take the lead. The lack of a law represented a major hurdle in the food control system.
