Goal action plan

-Enhancing Capacity of Caregivers to ensure optimal nutrition in the first 1000 days of life

-Enhancing Provision of Quality Health Services to prevent and manage nutrition related diseases and micronutrient deficiencies

-Improving capacity to address food and nutrition insecurity problems as well as provide a conducive macroeconomic environment for improved nutrition status

-Raising Awareness of the Problem of Malnutrition through activities that will promote positive behaviour change and lifestyle through advocacy, communication and social mobilization

-Ensuring budget allocation, timely release and utilization as well as strengthening the coordination capacity of the institutions and personnel responsible for policy and programme coordination

Indicator monitor -Routine and on-going evaluation of activities in every sector. -Evaluation will rely on annual joint review meetings to evaluate performance in addition to annual and periodic surveys such as the National Health and Nutrition Survey (NNHS) and Multi Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) and National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) -mid-term evaluation of progress will be done through MICS 2023 and NNHS 2023 for achievement of result
