Goal action plan
The MOHSPP will coordinate the implementation of national ANC guideline which has a provision on the ANC uptake per trimester. Mothers are supposed to attend ANC sessions at least 8 times. We first need to understand why women are not following the national guideline of attending 8 ANC sessions. Based on that SBCC interventions will be developed and implemented. In addition, the national communication programme on the first 1,000 days will be implemented to enhance the knowledge and practice among mothers and supportive figures in the community. We will strengthen the role of the mothers school (mother support group) at PHC level where pregnant women are provided with educational information related to their pregnancy.
